Cruise Like A Pro With These Handy Finds

To maximize your cruise happiness, organization is key. Here are a few items that are staples in my stash of cruise must-packs. Note: I may earn a tiny commission from some of these links, but usually not LOL. They’re here for you regardless as these items, I think, are the cat’s meow.

Magnetic Hooks

These hooks have 99 different uses – see my insta. From hanging caps, backpacks, purses, shower caps and lanyards on the wall, to hanging wet clothing to dry you will wonder how you have cruised without these before. To buy: Amazon.com

Collapsible Baskets

Some cruise lines have a million drawers and cubbies and then some are more streamlined. Either way, you’ll find these helpful – whether in the bathroom counter, under sink or in the main cabin desk area. We use them to do a his and hers items area on the desk – medicines, brushes, pill bottles, etc. It keeps things from rolling around. And they’re easily collapsible to throw back into your suitcase. Cord Organizer

While the organizer I have is not available now, the item above looks comparable. This item is great for every trip, not just cruising. I keep one packed and ready to go with duplicate cords for charging watches, ipads, phones, etc. I also keep a variety of cord blocks in the case as well (USB, C, etc…). Some newer cruise ships have the USB slots in the wall, but not the lightning (C) slots, so make sure you bring several of both types of cords should you need to use the existing USB ports on the dressers/walls. Towel Bands and Towel Clips

A breezy beach or pool day can be refreshing, but annoying if your towel is all over the place, in your eyes, the sand…I use these together – the bands for the top of the chairs and 2 clips on the side of the chairs and one at the foot of the chaise lounger. Some beach chair do not have a ledge at the bottom – the legs are attached to the front of the chair. So to keep your towel in place, the clips work best there. Also for the sides of the chair if you’re in a wind tunnel. To buy: Towel Bands Amazon.com Towel Clips Amazon.com

I hope you enjoy these items – sometimes it’s the small details that just add to a smooth flowing vacation day.

Bon Voyage!
